Morley’s Final Catalogue: Two examples of ' a rare form ' (Barrett) of this species were
taken at Copdock about 1900 (Hkg). Thetford in 1932 (Wlut).

Recent Status: Occurs in Breckland and Sandlings of Suffolk but is rare.

Life Style: A single brooded species that comes to light. Flying in early summer. There is no information on the immature stages in the UK.

Identification: This species can only reliably be identified from dissection of the genitalia. It is one of the earlier summer flying species.
